The Science, Technology, and Development Funding Authority (STDF), in cooperation with the Preventive Medicine Sector of the Ministry of Health and Population, announces starting the first research call for the “One Health” grant, to support research and innovations that enhance cooperation between the various sectors in the country (medical - veterinary - environmental), and to develop and apply research outputs related to the areas of combating infectious, epidemic and endemic diseases, up to the semi-industrial level, which contributes to the development of the national industry.

The Authority will finance projects of several categories over a period of two years:

- A funding category of up to 3,000,000 Egyptian pounds for research proposals submitted by one research agency.

- A funding category of up to 7,000,000 Egyptian pounds for research proposals submitted by two or more research agencies.

Deadline for receiving research proposals: February 19, 2023 - 2:00 p.m.
