Revolution Written with the Blood of the Martyrs

An exhibition entitled "revolution written with the blood of the martyrs" was held by "Reyah El-Tagheer" the student group in the faculty on Monday 15/10/2012. The exhibition included pictures of martyrs of Revolution of 25 January, name of every martyr, age, occupation, address, when they were killed?? And where??. The exhibition aims to glorify martyrs and to commemorate martyrs.

Training Course For Training 60 Trainees from Education Directorate

A training course in the field of quality management for training 60 trainees from Education Directorate in Damietta will be organized by community service and environmental development sector on Wednesday and Thursday 10,11 October 2012. The course will be trained by faculty members. On the first day, three groups will be trained; the first group will be trained by Dr. Soheer Farag the lecturer of educational technology, the second group will be trained by Dr. Sanaa Zahran the lecturer of curriculum & instruction and third group will be trained by Dr. Reda El-Adgham the assistant professor of curriculum & instruction. On the second day, three groups will be trained; the first group will be trained by Dr. Mervat Hany the lecturer of curriculum & instruction, the second group will be trained by Dr. Fatma El-Zayat the lecturer of psychology and third group will be trained by Dr. Manal Youssef the assistant professor of curriculum & instruction.

A seminar entitled "Dream …. Start … Change" was organized by "Osret Geel El-Thawra" the student group in the faculty on Monday 8/10/2012 at 10:30 am up till 12:00 pm at the faculty's theatre. The seminar was lectured by Dr. Mohammad Abu Farha the human development expert who talked about reasons of success. The seminar was attended by a large number of students who expressed their happiness to join such seminar.

Department of Educational psychology in the faculty has announced the establishment of special education division. Registration is available now for new students. Students will get bachelor degree in special education to teach students with special needs or to work at special care centers

E-Course Production Center in Faculty of Education has announced that some faculty members in the university's faculties have signed models of e-courses in order to use it during the first semester of the academic year 2012/2013.

Dr. Moataza Daadour the lecturer of Curriculum & Instruction in Faculty of Education has signed model of e-course " Methods of teaching English Language 2" which has been produced in Ain Shams university.

Dr. Amal Mubarak the lecturer of applied statistics and insurance in Faculty of Commerce has signed model of e-course "process research" which has been produced in Zagazig University.

Prof. Yassin Abdul-Latif the professor of chemistry in Faculty of Science has signed model of e-course " chemical thermodynamics" which has been produced in Damietta University.

Dr. Mohammad Gazar the lecturer of Curriculum & Instruction in Faculty of physical Education has signed model of e-course " introduction to physical education" which has been produced in Damietta University.

The Art of Start

A seminar entitled "The Art of Start" was held by "Reyah El-Taghir" the student group in the faculty in collaboration with "yes we can" the student group in Faculty of Science on Wednesday 26/9/2012 at 01:00 pm at the faculty's theatre. The seminar was under auspice of Prof. Maaty Nasr the dean of the faculty. The seminar was lectured by Dr. El-Bahy Gad the human development expert and attended by a large number of bachelor and postgraduate students in the faculty and Faculty of Science students. The seminar's slogan was "Plan… release…go". Many topics was discussed in the seminar such as; how we plan to achieve our goals, how to liberate energies and develop creativity and how to achieve harmony between what we want and what we achieve.

Environmental Week

Environmental week was held on Sunday 8/4/2012 up till Thursday 12/4/2012. The environmental week was under the auspices of Prof. Hadia Mohammad Rashad the dean of the college and prof. Student union in Damietta College of Education in cooperation with student groups of Damietta Branch Colleges held art exhibition and a concert in solidarity with Syria and Palestine entitled “Syria and Palestine between hope and pain” on Wednesday 14/3/2012 at 12:00 a.m at the college’s theatre. Environmental Problems in Damietta Governorate and Ways to Solve

A symposium entitled “Environmental Problems in Damietta Governorate and Ways to Solve” was held on Sunday 11/12/2011 at Discussion Hall in Damietta College of Education at 12:00 a.m for two hours. Prof. Al-Sayed Mohamad Al-Sayeh the vice dean for community service affairs and environment development started the speech clarifying that environment in Damietta affected by many factors (geographical location, topographic conditions, Population and economic and social activities of citizens) , also explaining environmental problems in Damietta governorate which affected the public health, economics and tourism such as (pollution of drinking water, deficiencies in hygiene, soil pollution and lack of environmental awareness). Followed by the speech of Prof. Mamdouh Salem Serag the professor of plant ecology of botany in Damietta College of Science explaining that daily human activities lead to air and water pollution and food pollution resulting from spray fruit spray with concentrated pesticides hoping quick earning then Prof. Samia Ahmed El-Zieny the tenured professor of curriculums and teaching methods in Damietta College of Education completed clarifying that environmental pollution is an inappropriate Societal and humanitarian behavior which government shouldn’t bear responsibility alone but laws should be respected by individuals. Public Health Concept and Disease Risks to Avoid

A symposium entitled “public health concept and disease risks to avoid” was held on Sunday18/12/2011 at the college’s theatre in Damietta College of Education at 12:00 a.m for two hours. Prof. Al-Sayed Mohamad Al-Sayeh the vice dean for community service affairs and environment development started the speech by welcoming the attendees then lectured clarifying importance of health and only patients know the importance of health he also explaining that health is completion of physical and mental safety not just the absence of disease or disability according to the WHO definition, followed the speech of Prof. Asem Al-Shobky the manager of information department in Damietta Health Directorate lectured clarifying that most diseases as a result of poor relationship between man and the environment also he talked about Hepatitis viruses, its risks to human health, two types of viruses B and C and prevention methods by (hand washing, use own tools and health awareness) then Dr. Eman Al-Said Shaban the Physician in Medical Unit in Damietta College of Education explaining that to be closer to Allah is the protector from diseases specially mental diseases. Cultural and media activity committee of student union in Damietta college of Education held a cultural symposium entitled "voting in election" on Sunday 27/11/2011 at the college's theatre. The symposium started at 12:00 p.m for three and half hours. Prof. Al-Bahy Gad the chairman of international smart center for human development in Damietta lectured on how to select the suitable candidate and how the elections different this time which included slate election system and individual election system. The symposium included poetry and national songs and was concluded by students’ inquiries.
