Today, February 5, 2024, Prof./ Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, welcomed Mr. Toshi Takayama, President of the Japanese company Kyoto Kagaku, which manufactures educational medical models and simulators, and an accompanying delegation that included Mr. Takao Kinouchi and Mr. Shi Dongyang, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybani, Vice President of the university for Education and Student Affairs Professor Dr. Muhammad Amasha, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Professor Dr. Wael Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Professor Dr. Ghada Mohamad Al-Sayad, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Professor Dr. Bassem Salama Al-Deek, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohamad Al-Farash, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Haitham Al-Hadidy, Head of the Industrial Design Department at the College of Applied Arts. The meeting included discussing current projects and reviewing future cooperation methods with the university through the company’s services, which include products of simulators for training in surgical skills, ear, nose and throat, ophthalmology, anesthesia, obstetrics, and gynecology, orthopedics, radiology, endoscopy, nursing, virtual reality, computer simulators for laparoscopic surgery, annealed human specimens, anatomical models, and programs.
