This award is considered an extension of the path of excellence set by the founder of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, His Excellency Hajj / Ali Mustafa Al-Qarm, may God have mercy on him, since the foundation of the university in 1993. Which was represented in supporting scientific research, leadership, innovation and interest in science and scientists, to put the university in the ranks of the best universities locally, regionally and globally which was represented in supporting scientific research, leadership, innovation and interest in science and scientists, to put the university in the ranks of the best universities locally, regionally and globally in terms of the quality of university education, scientific research and community service. It is an annual award that will be awarded each year to different fields.

This year's award is allocated to the following fields:

• Ali Al-Qarm Award for Authorship, the value of the prize is (6000) US dollars

• Ali Al-Qarm Award for translation, the value of the award is (6000) US dollars

• Ali Al-Qarm Award for Distinguished Researcher at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, the value of the award is (6000) US dollars

 • Ali Al-Qarm Award for the best master's thesis at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, the value of the award is (1000) US dollars.
