President of Damietta University Participates in the 18th Gulf Education and Training Exhibition in Jeddah Amid Strong Interest in the University’s Booth.

Professor Dr.  Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University, participated on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the activities of the 18th Gulf Education and Training Exhibition, held on October 22–23, 2025, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event features participation from several Egyptian, Arab, and international universities and educational institutions, within the framework of the “Study in Egypt” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Damietta University booth witnessed a large turnout of visitors, students, and parents during the first day of the exhibition, who were eager to learn about the distinguished academic programs offered by the university across its various faculties and disciplines — especially in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Modern International Programs.

During the visit, the President was accompanied by Professor Dr. Wael Abd Alkader, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence. Together, they engaged in discussions with visitors about the advanced educational opportunities provided by Damietta University, designed to meet the needs of regional and international labor markets.

Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie emphasized that the university’s participation in this event comes as part of its efforts to enhance international student recruitment and attract more Arab and foreign students, noting that the university continually seeks academic openness and international cooperation in line with the state’s strategy for developing higher education and scientific research.

He added that the high turnout at Damietta University’s booth reflects its prestigious status and strong academic reputation achieved in recent years, thanks to its modern study programs, advanced infrastructure, and highly qualified faculty members who combine efficiency and expertise.
