Delta University for Science and Technology has announced the organization of its First International Conference titled “The Impacts of Artificial Intelligence on Society”, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 21–22, 2026, at the university campus.

The conference aims to highlight the profound impacts of artificial intelligence across five vital sectors: education, healthcare, industry, energy, and economics. It will provide an academic platform for researchers and professionals to present and discuss the latest research findings, innovations, and challenges in these fields. Through the conference sessions, participants will explore the capabilities of modern technologies and compare them with human skills to identify where artificial intelligence can complement or replace human roles.

Conference Themes

The conference covers several scientific themes, most notably in education, including adaptive learning and intelligent tutoring systems, assessment and challenges to academic integrity, educational data analytics and student profiling, and curriculum redesign to keep pace with the digital era.

In the healthcare sector, the themes include artificial intelligence in medical imaging and diagnosis, predictive analytics for epidemics and disease outbreaks, AI-assisted robotic surgery and telemedicine, as well as data privacy and security in medical AI.

Regarding the energy and industrial sectors, the conference will address smart grid management using machine learning, cybersecurity risks in AI-driven energy infrastructure, policy frameworks for sustainable AI-powered energy use, predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization and smart logistics, and human-robot collaboration in manufacturing environments.

In the field of economics, discussions will focus on productivity growth, workforce displacement, and the impact of artificial intelligence on international trade and competitiveness.

Important Dates and Registration Details

The conference administration has set April 30, 2026, as the deadline for submitting extended abstracts, while the final acceptance of papers and posters will be announced in mid-September 2026.
