The Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STDF), in collaboration with the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology in Spain (CDTI), is pleased to announce the opening of the 10th Call for the Egyptian-Spanish Technological Cooperation Program. This program aims to support and link scientific research with industry by encouraging Egyptian researchers to apply their research outcomes to solve industrial challenges. It also seeks to strengthen technological collaboration between both countries in projects focused on technological development, innovation, and technology transfer to achieve economic benefits and enhance competitiveness in the following fields:

• Agriculture
• Water resources management
• Health
• Construction
• Renewable energy
• Environment
• Strategic industries
• Transportation
• Tourism and antiquities

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and be affiliated with an Egyptian research institution.
• Projects must involve collaboration with an Egyptian industrial partner (companies or industrial entities) and a Spanish industrial partner.

Funding Details:

• Accepted projects will receive up to €150,000 in funding for the Egyptian side, for a duration of up to two years.

Deadline for proposal submission: December 3, 2025.
