Under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Arab Republic of Egypt

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, in collaboration with the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, announces the convening of the First Conference on Science, Technology, and Innovation Observatories in the Arab World, to be held on November 9–10, 2025, in Cairo.

The conference aims to:

• Exchange experiences and knowledge among Arab countries regarding the interoperability of science, technology, and innovation (STI) data.
• Explore opportunities for regional cooperation in building interconnected Arab databases to support knowledge integration.
• Strengthen effective collaboration between observatories and policymakers.
• Assess the effectiveness of national policies in supporting research, development, and innovation.

This conference serves as a specialized scientific platform that supports policymakers and Arab researchers in building a creative and innovative knowledge-based society.
