Academy of Scientific Research and Technology Opens Applications for the "My Project, My beginning" Program to Support Graduation Projects for the Academic Year 2025/2026
As part of its ongoing support for innovation and student entrepreneurship, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) has announced the opening of applications for the "My Project, My beginning " program — one of its flagship initiatives to support final-year graduation projects of students at Egyptian universities for the academic year 2025/2026.
Dr. Gina El-Feki, Acting President of the Academy, explained that this program is the largest of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East, now being supported by the Academy for the twelfth consecutive year, reflecting its belief that youth are the main drivers of development.
The program supports students from practical and applied colleges across all disciplines, not just engineering and science. It also includes a wide range of fields such as:

Interior Design, Animation ,Video Games , Software Development , Internet of Things (IoT) ,Electronics , Robotics , Green Technology , Energy ,Water ,Logistics ,Petroleum Industries ,Food Industries ,Handicrafts ,Waste Recycling
The Academy also announced an update in funding levels in accordance with the decisions of its Board:

EGP 20,000 for individual projects

Up to EGP 100,000 for group projects (maximum of 5 students per team)
Dr. Amr Farouk, ASRT Assistant President for the Technological Development Sector, explained that this year's application categories are divided into two types:
? Individual Projects:

Targeted at final-year students

Focus on emerging technologies, and linking academic work with entrepreneurship and market needs
? Cluster Projects:

Designated for universities and institutions only

Include both individual and group projects

Cover strategic areas such as:

Decent Life Initiative (Hayah Karima) , Artificial Intelligence , Quantum Computing , Space Sciences , Local Component Development , Autonomous Vehicles , Assistive Medical Devices , Deep Tech , Fourth Industrial Revolution , Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology
