The Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) announces the 8th Call for Joint Chinese-Egyptian Research Proposals through the China-Egypt Research Fund (CERF). This call is issued under the Memorandum of Understanding for establishing a joint funding program in science and technology between the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.
The aim of this call is to fund and support innovative research projects in the following fields:

Artificial Intelligence
Funding is available up to EGP 3 million, and the maximum project duration is 24 months.
The deadline for proposal submission is June 23, 2025.
