University President welcomed Major General Mohamed Kashqoush

              This morning, Tuesday, October 28, at his office in Damietta, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, welcomed Major General Dr. Mohamed Kashqoush, Advisor at the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies and Advisor to the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, ahead of the ceremony organized by the university to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Mohamed Mostafa Khalifa, Military Advisor to Damietta Governorate; Professoe Dr. Mohamed Abdo Amasha, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; and Professor Dr. Ali Gohar, former Dean of the Faculty of Education.

During the meeting, the University President warmly welcomed Major General Mohamed Kashqoush, expressing his pride in his participation in this national occasion, which reflects the spirit of heroism and sacrifice shown by the brave soldiers of the Egyptian Armed Forces in defense of the nation’s land and dignity. He affirmed that Damietta University is keen to commemorate this cherished anniversary every year to instill the values of patriotism and sacrifice in the hearts of new generations.

For his part, Major General Mohamed Kashqoush expressed his pleasure at being at Damietta University, praising the university’s efforts to promote national awareness among its students and to strengthen their sense of loyalty and belonging to Egypt.

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, highlighting the importance of the role of academic institutions in supporting national values, before both sides headed to the Grand Hall to begin the official ceremony celebrating the October War victories.
