University President Congratulates Sara Emad El-Din Abdel Qader on Winning First Place in the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition at the Level of Egyptian Universities.

In a new achievement added to the record of student accomplishments at Damietta University, headed by Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, student Sara Emad El-Din Abd Al Kader — a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Arts and President of the University Student Union — won first place in the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition at the level of Egyptian universities. The competition was hosted by Fayoum University from May 3 to May 6, 2026, with distinguished participation from students representing various Egyptian universities.

Damietta University’s participation in the competition came under the patronage of the University President and the leadership of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdo Ammasha, with supervision by Mr. Mohamed Refaat Mostafa, Ms. Rawan Hussein, and Ms. Dina El-Essawy.

The university delegation participated in both the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition and the “Goodwill Ambassadors” Competition amid strong competition among representatives of Egyptian universities. Sara Emad El-Din Abd Al Kader successfully advanced to the final stage among the top nine universities nationwide after delivering an outstanding performance that reflected her academic and cultural excellence, leadership qualities, and active participation in student activities, ultimately earning first place with merit and distinction.

In this context, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally expressed his sincere congratulations to Sara Emad El-Din Abd Al Kader, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the honorable image of Damietta University students and their ability to compete strongly and achieve advanced positions in various university events.

The University President also noted that Damietta University is committed to supporting outstanding students and nurturing young talents in scientific, cultural, and student activity fields, believing in their role in building the nation’s future and representing the university in a manner worthy of its status.
