Damietta University has advanced in the Universities Global rankings “Webometrics” version January 2018. As it ranked No. (3744 globally) among (26000) university and institution, the previous assessment in July 2017 was (3383 worldwide).

           Also it has got in the local ranking  the place No. (26), and the African ranking has got the place no.(120),  as for the Arab ranking has got the place no.(122) .

           Webometrics Ranking is one of the greatest  global Ranking systems in the field of universities assessments as it covers more than 25000 universities and institutes worldwide and It is issued every six months. It generally evaluates two basic elements (  the quality of the university site – the scientific research quality ).

The university still need more work to face many challenges to increase its progress among the universities.
