On Thursday morning, August 14, 2025, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, welcomed Professor Manuel Jung, Lecturer at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Cairo, within the framework of academic cooperation and the promotion of scientific and cultural exchange of expertise. The visit was on the occasion of Professor Jung delivering a lecture and a workshop in the German language for the students of the “Polyglot” Department at the Faculty of Arts, with the aim of enhancing their linguistic and communication skills. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Hamed El-Far, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Arts and Director of the “Polyglot” Program, and Professor Dr. Ashraf Qouta, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Horus University. The discussions addressed ways to enhance academic cooperation between the University and DAAD, with the aim of supporting scientific exchange programs and developing students’ skills.
