President of Tanta University Welcomes Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally to Discuss Academic and Research Cooperation. Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, welcomed today, Saturday, August 23, 2025, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two universities in the fields of student, research, and community activities, in addition to exchanging scientific expertise and developing curricula and research programs, in a way that contributes to enhancing the educational process and serving community issues. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mamdouh El-Masry, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University, along with a number of faculty members. The discussions aimed to establish effective executive mechanisms to activate cooperation frameworks between the two universities and to work together on joint research projects and academic training programs. Dr. Mohamed Hussein stressed that this meeting represents an important practical step towards implementing the executive frameworks of the Delta Universities Alliance, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts among Egyptian universities as part of an integrated system aimed at serving the community and developing the capacities of students and researchers. For his part, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally expressed his great appreciation for Tanta University and its pioneering role in advancing scientific research and academic programs, affirming Damietta University’s keenness to strengthen fruitful cooperation with it and to open new horizons of partnership that serve the common goals in education, scientific research, and community service.
