University President Receives the General Manager of “Cisco Trans” Advanced Logistics to Discuss Prospects of Cooperation. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University, received today, Monday, August 25, 2025, Mr. Zakaria Alioh, General Manager of “Cisco Trans” Advanced Logistics, as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen ties of cooperation with private sector institutions.

During the meeting, Mr. Zakaria Alioh expressed his great pleasure at visiting Damietta University, affirming his appreciation for the University’s pioneering role in supporting the educational and research process, and his keenness to open avenues of fruitful cooperation that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and serving the community.

For his part, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally welcomed the General Manager of “Cisco Trans,” stressing the importance of building bridges of cooperation with leading institutions and companies, in a way that enhances integration between academic and practical aspects, contributes to the development of the educational and training environment at the University, and prepares graduates capable of meeting labor market requirements.

The meeting concluded with Mr. Zakaria Alioh presenting the University President with the company’s shield, in recognition of his role and efforts in supporting the University’s progress and strengthening effective partnerships with various community institutions.
