On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, visited the headquarters of Damietta Security Directorate to extend his congratulations to Major General Hisham Rashad on the occasion of assuming his new position as Director of Damietta Security.

During the visit, the University President conveyed his sincere wishes to the Security Director for success in carrying out his duties, stressing the vital national role played by the Security Directorate in maintaining safety and stability, and in fostering a secure environment that contributes to advancing the development process in the governorate.

For his part, Major General Hisham Rashad expressed his appreciation for the visit, praising the University’s keenness to build bridges of cooperation with various security and civil institutions in service of the Damietta community.
