As part of its visit to evaluate the readiness of Damietta National University’s faculties to start the academic year—including the Faculties of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Nursing, Arts and Design, Archaeology, Al-Alsun, and Business—the Supreme Council of Universities’ committee, chaired by Professor Dr. Heba Mostafa Noah, former Vice President of Cairo University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted a field tour of the university’s facilities today, Saturday, August 16, 2025. During the tour, the committee visited the administrative building of Damietta National University, along with the lecture halls, classrooms, and research laboratories of the Faculties of Nursing, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and Archaeology, to evaluate the readiness of the university’s infrastructure and educational facilities for welcoming students in the upcoming academic year. The committee members were accompanied by Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University and Damietta National University, along with the Vice Presidents of Damietta University and the Vice President of the National University for Academic Affairs. The University President presented to the committee the modern preparations completed in the buildings, halls, and laboratories, ensuring the provision of an outstanding educational environment that meets the requirements of both the local and international labor markets. The committee praised the level of facilities observed within the university, affirming that the implemented preparations reflect a clear vision for providing modern university education that supports scientific research and serves the community.
