A few hours ago, the world ranking of green universities was released [uni-green metrics] where the university of Damietta ranked 655th in the world and ranked fourth among Egyptian public universities. This classification measures the extent of universities' commitment to participate in developing an environmentally friendly infrastructure, and it makes a global ranking for universities according to sustainable development processes within the university, and the university's commitment to clean environment standards. . This classification is based on basic criteria such as green statistics - energy - climate change - waste management - water use - transportation and education. On this occasion, Professor   Dr . El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university extends his thanks and appreciation to all the university's associates especially, vice presidents, deans, faculty members, administrators and students for their efforts to keep Damietta University in a constantly development. In this regard, the university president sends special thanks to the engineering administration and workers at the university. The President of the University also offers a distinguished thanks to the data-recording team in international classifications, which works under the supervision of Professor   Dr. Hemdan Rabie, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, as well as Dr. Amany Al-Diasty, the leader of the classification team, who works sincerely to show the efforts of the university within the international rankings , and indeed succeeded in the emergence of Damietta University in more than one classification and for the first time since the establishment of The University of Damietta.
