The university president holds a meeting to prepare for the launch of the "Be Ready" initiative as part of the presidential "Alliance and Development" initiative. As part of Damietta University's support for ambitious national initiatives, Professor Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, held a meeting today, Monday, August 4, 2025, in preparation for the launch of the "Be Ready" initiative, one of the executive mechanisms of the presidential "Alliance and Development" initiative. During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of the initiative in promoting the values of national belonging and equipping students with the skills necessary to meet the demands of the labor market. He emphasized the importance of thorough preparation in all aspects to ensure its successful implementation. The meeting also discussed mechanisms for providing technically equipped training halls to host the courses and workshops planned for the initiative, ensuring a distinguished training experience within a stimulating educational environment. The "Be Ready" initiative aims to prepare young people for future skills, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the supervision of Egyptian universities. The initiative is specifically targeted at university graduates and final-year students, enabling them to acquire the required skills before entering the job market. The initiative covers four main themes:
