The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) announces the acceptance of five research projects for the years 2025–2026 within the framework of the scientific and technological cooperation program between the Academy and the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). This comes following the call launched by the Academy in July 2024 to accept research proposals in all fields of science (Mobility), under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology will fund the projects in collaboration with the National Research Council of Italy according to the announced terms and conditions. Each project will be funded with an amount of EGP 150,000 annually.

18 eligible research proposals were submitted to the Academy and evaluated by the Technical Office. An agreement was reached with the Italian side to include and fund 5 research projects.
