University President Meets with the Board of Directors of Wadi El Nile Contracting Company to Follow Up on the Student University Hospital Project.
In line with his commitment to closely monitoring the progress of the University’s major projects, particularly the Student University Hospital, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, held a meeting today, Monday, August 11, 2025, with the Board of Directors of Wadi El Nile Contracting Company, the entity responsible for executing the project.
The meeting was attended by Major General Khaled Mady, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi El Nile Contracting Company; Dr. Anwar Ismail, Vice Chairman; Eng. Abdel Sattar Abdel Maqsoud, Advisor to the Chairman for Projects; Eng. Mohamed El-Ghazawy, Damietta Area Manager at Wadi El Nile; Eng. Tarek Eissa, Head of the Health Sector at the company; and Dr. Ahmed El-Gammal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
During the meeting, the current execution status of the project was reviewed, along with discussions on the remaining timelines for completing the construction and equipment works, ensuring that the hospital operates in accordance with the highest technical and medical standards.
The University President stressed the importance of adhering to the agreed timelines and maintaining the highest levels of quality in execution, given the project’s significance as a qualitative leap in the healthcare services provided to students, university staff, and the surrounding community.
