The university president meets with representatives of Egyptian banks to discuss ways of cooperation with Damietta Private University. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University and Damietta National University, met today, Thursday, July 10, 2025, with representatives of Egyptian banks, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Kader, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. This meeting came as part of the university's commitment to strengthening cooperation with banking institutions. The meeting addressed establishing a framework for cooperation between Damietta National University and a number of national banks, which would contribute to supporting the educational and administrative services provided to students. The meeting also discussed ways to open bank accounts to facilitate student tuition payment, and negotiated the provision of all banking facilities and electronic services to faculty members, staff, and students, in a bid to support the digital transformation and contribute to the development of the university's financial and administrative system. During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of cooperation with the banking sector in supporting the educational process and providing innovative services that meet modern requirements. He noted that the private university seeks to provide an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with the latest developments in technology and financial management.
