Damietta University participated in the conference “Activating the Role of Civil Work Organizations confronting the Population Issue and Combating Corruption” at Egypt Public Library in Damietta on Monday 22/11/2021 . The conference was headed by Dr./Manal Awad , Governor of Damietta, in the presence of Dr. /Talaat Abdel-Qawy, President of the General Federation of NGOs and Institutions & a Member of the Parliament , Dr. / Amr Othman, the Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity & Director of the Addiction Control Fund and Dr. / Yaser Gamal, General Director of the Following -up General Administration at the Technical Secretariat of the National Council. The conference aimed to search for mechanisms to activate the role of NGOs and civil society in the population issue and combating corruption. The conference also comes as a continuation of the series of cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Damietta Governorate.
