Due to the high demand from young researchers,
the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, through the Egyptian National Bioinformatics Network (BioNetMasr),
announces an extension of the application deadline to October 15, 2025 for funding the best innovative research proposals in the field of bioinformatics.

Funding of up to 1 million Egyptian pounds will be distributed among 10 outstanding research projects.
The areas of interest include:

• Applications of artificial intelligence in bioinformatics
• Genome and genetic data analysis
• Research related to common diseases (cancer – diabetes – liver diseases)
• Other innovative research ideas
