Led by Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Mawli, President of the University, the Damietta University team defeated the New Mansoura University team in the final of the first Ramadan session for coastal universities and the nineteenth football and table tennis tournament for faculty members with a score of 4-0. The tournament was organized by the Faculty Club of Mansoura University under the slogan “Friendship Course” from March 21, corresponding to Ramadan 11, until April 2, corresponding to Ramadan 23, in the covered hall of the Olympic Village. This came in the presence of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Professor Dr. Moawad El-Kholy, President of New Mansoura University, Professor Dr. Mohamad Abdo Amasha, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abd Al Hamid Shehab, Vice President of the Faculty of Commerce for Education and Student Affairs and Acting Secretary General of the University. Professor Dr. Hamed Al-Far, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Ahmed El-Gamal, Head of the Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, in the presence of deans, deans, and faculty members at Mansoura University and the participating universities. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, won the Best Player and Best Scorer awards in the Coastal Universities Championship. It is worth noting that the first Ramadan tournament for coastal universities and the nineteenth football tournament witnessed 114 goals scored during 31 matches with the participation of 168 players and the participation of 6 universities.
