Announcement for Submitting Proposals for Mutual Research Projects (Mobility Projects) Between Egypt and Hungary
From today until September 30, 2025

As part of activating the scientific and technological cooperation agreement between the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Academy announces the opening of submissions for research proposals under the Mutual Research Projects (Mobility Projects) for the years 2026-2027. Approved projects will be funded in collaboration with the Hungarian side, according to the following conditions:

• Open for all fields of science
• Project Duration: 24 months
• Funding: EGP 300,000 annually for each project from the Egyptian side
• Submission: Online only through the following link: http://www.asrt.sci.eg/open-calls-ar/طلب-مقترحات-بحثية-mobility-projects-لإدراجها-ضمن-اتف/?lang=ar
  Proposals submitted outside the online link will not be accepted.

Submission Requirements:

• The Principal Investigator and Alternate Investigator must be from the same Egyptian research institution (university/research center).
• Other team members may belong to different institutions.
• The proposal must be submitted simultaneously by both the Egyptian and Hungarian sides.
• A formal approval letter from the Egyptian research institution and the stamped first page of the project from both sides is a mandatory requirement.
• Participation is available for accredited private universities in Egypt.
• Researchers with accepted projects will be notified via email.
