Fully Funded International Scholarships in Cooperation with Uzbekistan

     As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision to support international cooperation and enhance student participation in global academic programs, the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO – ALECSO – ICESCO) has announced the opening of applications for the ICESCO International Scholarships Programme, implemented in cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The program aims to provide outstanding educational opportunities for students from ICESCO member states by offering five fully funded scholarships to study at universities in Uzbekistan.

The scholarships include:

  • Three scholarships to study the Bachelor of General Medicine at Tashkent Medical University
  • Two scholarships to study undergraduate programs in:
    • Environmental Management and Sustainability
    • Environment and Economics
      at the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies

Scholarship benefits:
The scholarships fully cover tuition fees, in addition to monthly stipends, accommodation, and access to healthcare services.

Application requirements:

  • Applications must be submitted online through the official program website
  • Application deadline: May 15, 2026
  • English language proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent

The National Commission emphasized that providing such opportunities comes within its commitment to broadening the horizons of Egyptian students and enhancing their integration into international programs, contributing to the preparation of qualified youth capable of competing globally and supporting the state’s direction toward investing in human capital.
