Emergency Session of the Board of Trustees of Damietta National University to Review Preparations for the New Academic Year

Damietta, Egypt — August 11, 2025 — Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University and Damietta National University, chaired an emergency session of the Board of Trustees of Damietta National University on Monday, with the attendance of all board members.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the final preparations for the launch of the colleges at the start of the 2025/2026 academic year. Discussions emphasized the readiness of university facilities and the provision of laboratories and classrooms equipped with the latest technology, in line with approved academic standards.

The Council also addressed mechanisms for selecting highly qualified academic and administrative staff and ensuring a supportive and stimulating educational environment for students. These measures aim to guarantee that the educational process begins efficiently and to the highest quality standards from the very first day of classes.
