Signing a Cooperation Protocol between Damietta University and Damietta National University to Enhance the Quality of the Educational Process.
The Council of Damietta University, chaired by Prof. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, and attended by the Vice Presidents and Council members, witnessed during its 249th session held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the signing of a joint cooperation protocol between Damietta University, represented by its President, and Damietta National University, represented by Prof. Ramadan Abdel Hamid Al-Tantawy, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The protocol aims to foster cooperation in the fields of education and learning, and to benefit from the distinguished human resources of faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff, in a way that ensures the provision of an advanced educational experience aligned with the latest global educational systems.
This cooperation comes within the framework of the supportive role played by Damietta University as the founding university, as it provides its various capabilities and expertise to support Damietta National University, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the educational process and contributing to achieving integration between the two institutions.
Prof. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally affirmed that Damietta University, as the founding institution, places supporting Damietta National University at the top of its priorities, noting that this cooperation reflects the university’s commitment to offering all its resources and expertise to ensure the success of the educational experience at the national university and to realize the state’s vision for developing higher education.
For his part, Prof. Ramadan Abdel Hamid Al-Tantawy expressed his appreciation for the support provided by Damietta University, emphasizing that this protocol represents an important step toward building an effective partnership that contributes to advancing the educational process and providing distinguished educational services to students.
