Today, March 12, 2024, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, inaugurated the symposium on the principles of entrepreneurship and innovative projects, which was held on the campus of the university within the “Nile Pioneers” initiative, sponsored by the United Bank within the framework of the Nile Pioneers Initiative, which seeks to achieve sustainable economic development based on small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurship with the support and inclusion of all parties involved. The symposium was lectured by Ms. Laila Al-Sayed Al-Desouki, Director of Business Development at United Bank, in the presence of Dr. Amany Al-Disty, Director of the University’s Classification Unit. It is worth noting that the Nile Pioneers Initiative is a national initiative that began in 2019 under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt and the Egyptian banking sector, in addition to various partnerships with the government and private sectors. The Nile Pioneers Initiative supports startups and small and medium-sized companies in the fields of manufacturing, agriculture, and digital transformation by applying various innovation tools.
