Education & Student Affairs Council holds its session no. (181)

        The Council of Education and Student Affairs at Damietta University held its 181st meeting on Thursday, 18 December 2025, at the University’s General Administration headquarters, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdo Amasha, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and attended by the Council members.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdo Amasha expressed his gratitude to all the university’s faculties in appreciation of the efforts exerted during the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, coinciding with the start of the examination period. He emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the rules and regulations governing the examination process to maintain discipline, ensure equal opportunities for students, and provide a suitable environment for conducting examinations in the best possible manner.

The Council discussed several issues related to the educational process and student affairs, including following up on the faculties’ readiness for examinations, emphasizing the availability of comfort and support for students within examination committees, and taking the necessary immediate measures to address any obstacles that may arise during the examination period.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Council honored Dr. Doaa Adel El-Imam from the Faculty of Science and Dr. Rania Amid Abu Jalalah from the Faculty of Specific Education, in recognition of their distinguished efforts and effective contributions to judging the Best University for Student Activities Competition at the level of Egyptian universities for the 2024–2025 academic year. They were awarded certificates of appreciation presented by Prof. Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, in acknowledgment of their prominent role and commendable efforts in the competition.

The Council also reviewed several achievement reports submitted by the faculties and relevant departments, highlighting the efforts made in support of the educational process and student services.

In concluding the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdo Amasha emphasized the importance of continuous coordination between the faculties and the university administration, and adherence to the implementation of issued decisions, in a manner that serves the best interests of students and contributes to enhancing the quality of the educational process at Damietta University.
