Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, issued a decision today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, assigning Professor Dr. Bassem Salama Abd Al Halim El-Deek, Professor in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine, to assume the duties of Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University, pending the issuance of a decision appointing a new Dean for the Faculty or the issuance of another decision by the competent authority. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, expressed his sincere wishes to Professor Dr. Bassem Al-Deek for success in carrying out his duties and for continuing his efforts to support and develop the academic and administrative work at the College. In the same context, the University President extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Omnia El-Batrawy, the former Dean of the College, for her competence and distinguished efforts during her tenure, wishing her continued success in her future endeavors.
