The Council of Graduate Studies and Research at Damietta University held its 183rd meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, chaired by Prof./ Mohamed Abdel Hamid Shehab, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, in the presence of the Vice Deans of the faculties.

At the beginning of the session, His Excellency extended his congratulations to the Vice Deans on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. He also congratulated Dr. Roshdy Mahmoud, Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Marwa Fayez, Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Graduate Studies and Research, following the issuance of the University President’s decisions appointing them to carry out the duties of Vice Dean for Graduate Studies at their respective faculties.

He then directed the Vice Deans to complete the required documents for faculty members and their assistants wishing to apply for the University Awards for the academic year 2025/2026, no later than Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

He also instructed the committee formed to prepare a proposal for the University’s First Scientific Conference to expedite its submission, present it to the relevant councils, and complete the necessary procedures to hold the conference.

The Council also discussed several issues related to postgraduate students across various faculties and took the necessary decisions accordingly.
