Within the framework of cooperation between the Academy of Scientific Research & Technology at the Ministry of Higher Education and various scientific institutions to link the Egyptian scientific community with its global counterpart, The Academy has signed an agreement with the International Institute for Systems Analysis Applications, as the institute shall defray the full expenses of an Egyptian researcher If he is accepted in the summer program for young scientists which will be organized by the Institute for PhD students at its headquarters in Luxembourg, Austria during the period from June to August every year where the researcher will work under the direct supervision of experienced scientists in the institute Nobel laureates in science are among them .

The research fields are the following:-

Advanced System Analysis
Ecosystem Services and Management
Energy
Evolution and Ecology
Risk and Resilience
Transitions to New Technologies Water
World Population
