Today, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Proferror Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, and Mrs. Mona Kasbah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Director of the Finance Directorate in Damietta, inaugurated the Financial Awareness Workshop in Runway “107 B” on the University Campus, which is held by the Finance Directorate in Damietta, under the title “General Frameworks for the Public Finance Law” Consolidated No. 6 of 2022. The symposium was also attended by Professor Dr. Yasser Abd Al Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Zuhairy, Secretary General of the University. During the university’s president’s speech, He welcomed the members of the Finance Directorate in Damietta and all the trainees at Damietta University, stressing the university’s welcome and opening its doors to any training courses at any time. He also praised, during his speech, the role of the Director of the Accounting Unit as a conscience within every government institution, through which all financial operations are reviewed in light of the regulating laws and regulations. The awareness workshop was attended by all directors of accounting units and directors of financial departments in all government institutions in Damietta Governorate, as well as a number of leaders of the Finance Directorate in Damietta and the general administration of the university.
