Inauguration of the educational course for the Public Prosecution at Damietta University

              Within the framework of the Egyptian State Vision 2030 and the recommendation to use digital transformation techniques, and in light of the implementation of the Public Prosecution’s strategy for digital transformation; Today, Saturday, June 18, 2022  Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, received Counselor Ahmed Abd Al Salam, Attorney General in Damietta Governorate, at the start of the “Digital Transformation of the Public Prosecution” course, hosted by the laboratories of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, starting today and for a period of four days. The university president also received the advisors, the heads of the college prosecution, and the advisors, the heads of the prosecution offices of Damietta, the Damietta Center and New Damietta. Prior to the start of the training course, the President of the University accompanied the Attorney General to inspect some laboratories of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, where Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Kader Awad, Dean of the College, explained the mechanisms and techniques of a number of modern and first-of-its-kind devices in the faculties of computers and artificial intelligence in Egyptian universities, which aim to enrich the skills of students and the college students and qualify them to gain distinct experiences in the field of cybersecurity and digital transformation. The President of the University informed the Attorney General that the University was honored by the presence of the esteemed authority and is pleased to provide the necessary laboratories. The President of the University also stated that the University is fully prepared to cooperate with the esteemed authority to provide the university’s various capabilities of facilities, laboratories, halls and human resources for any activities required by the Public Prosecution Authority. For his part, the Attorney General expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the President of the University for hosting the training course, which, although it expresses, expresses the extent of rooting the bonds of cooperation with the University in various fields. The "Digital Transformation of the Public Prosecution" course is part of the Ministry of Justice's efforts to provide infrastructure, operating requirements, systems, programs and integrated digital applications to support the digital transformation policy of the Public Prosecution. It is worth noting that Damietta University is always happy to cooperate with all state institutions to consolidate its role in community service.
