The president of the university, accompanied by a delegation from the university, visits the church to congratulate on Christmas

           Today, Monday, January 9, 2023, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, visited the Church of the Virgin Mary in Damietta . The president of the university and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by Archpriest Morcos Mahrous, secretary of the Al-Matareya, and Archpriest Sawiris Suleiman, pastor of the Church of Lady Mary in Damietta. His Excellency was accompanied by a delegation from the university that consisted of some members of the university council and a symbolic representation of the different groups of university affiliates, including faculty members, administrators, students union and family” For Egypt ” The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Hamdan Rabie El-Metwally, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Professor Dr. Osama Zaidan, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Professor Dr.  El Shahat Saad Mohamad Etman, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Dr. El Metwally Mostafa Selim, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and Professor Dr.  Wael Abd Al Kader Awad, Dean of the College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence Professor Dr. Attia El Imam Elkolaly, Dean of the College of Arts, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim El Matbouly, Dean of the College of Physical Education, and Professor Dr. Mohamad Abu Dobara, Dean of the College of Sciences, Professor Dr.  Nahed Fekry, Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Amany Mohamad Abd Al Aziz - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Representative Evelyn Matti, member of Parliament, and Mr. Maher William, also attended. Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, presented the university’s sincere congratulations and its affiliates to Hegomen Morcos Mahrous to all Christian brothers on the occasion of the Christmas celebration, stressing the pride of the university community in all fraternal feelings, strong ties, and religious tolerance, which is the main pillar that distinguishes the proud Egyptian people, keen on their unity and originality. Hegomen Morcos Mahrous also thanked the university president and the accompanying delegation for their keenness to be present today to congratulate the Merry Christmas. Happy new year to the Egyptian people. May God protect our beloved Egypt.
