The university president inspects the university's facilities, laboratories and workshops in Damietta

               This morning, Tuesday, January 17, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, inspected the university's facilities, laboratories, and workshops in Damietta. He was welcomed by Professor Dr. Hatem Idrees, Dean of the College of Applied Arts, Professor Dr. Hossam El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, Professor Dr. Naglaa Teema, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Ahmed El-Tantawy, Director of the University Press, and Colonel Mohamed Shallata, Director of Administrative Security at the University, and a number of Administrators. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University discussed with the Dean of the College about the conduct of tests and controls in the undergraduate and postgraduate stages, then he went to inspect the laboratories and workshops and praised the good employment of the new machines in the textile workshop and saw some of their products. The university president also received a report from the college that pleased the whole university, which is the existence of communication and initial agreement with the Spinning and Weaving Factory Company in Damietta, which has a great reputation. The heads of departments in the factory are graduates from the same department at Damietta University, which confirms the link between university programs and the requirements and needs of society. In this regard, the university president stated that the university is proud of its graduates in all honorable positions. He also stated that the experiments, results of research and research projects will be the best support for the development of work in the spinning and weaving factory and in its service. The university president stated that one of the university's roles is to be an observatory. The College of Applied Arts, with its location on the banks of the Nile, serves as a civilized gateway to the city of Damietta, the land of writers, poets, thinkers, and scholars. Then the president of the university went to the university press and inspected the new machines and took some souvenir photos with the employees of the printing press, which is being gradually updated to meet the requirements of the university in terms of publications, provided that it later meets the needs of the community surrounding the university who wish to print in the Amiri University press. The university cuts a group of papers using the latest digital cutting machines. At the end of the visit, the university president stated that the university did not advance admirably within the university community in Egypt in a vacuum, but rather because of the integrated efforts of national work teams, sincere in their work, and because of scholars who work in silence and pride, and the competition between colleagues has become positive and in favor of the University.
