Today, Monday, May 29, 2023, at eleven in the afternoon, in the University Council Hall in the General Administration Building, the University Council held its session # 193, chaired by Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, with the membership of Messrs. Vice-Presidents and Deans of Faculties, and the secretariat of the session was assumed by the Secretary-General of the University. The President of the University started the session by extending sincere congratulations to Professor Dr. Mohamad Abdo Amasha on the occasion of the presidential decision to appoint him as Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for a period of three years, to succeed Professor Dr. Osama Zaidan, whom the Council thanked for the period he spent as Dean of the College. Then the Council took several decisions, including: Approving the disbursement of the value of the university’s prizes for distinguished scientific publication to the winning faculty members and the supporting staff of the various colleges of the university, for research published in prestigious internationally classified journals with a quarterly ranking of Q during the year 2021, with a total number of (310) research.

The approval of the University Council to allocate an area of ????(2500 square meters) inside the university campus as a project for the electronic examination center (the second phase) in order to achieve optimal utilization of the university’s resources and to facilitate the students so that the capacity of the center can accommodate and serve (3000) students in each exam period.

The approval of the University Council to include a project to establish a building for the Faculty of Agriculture that includes the administrative headquarters and laboratories.

Allocating a headquarters for the Space Research Center inside the General Administration Building (C).

Allocating five rooms in the General Administration Building (C)

The Center for Advanced Agricultural Research, which is equipped with the latest equipment at the highest scientific level.

Allocating an administrative headquarters for the Scientific Computation Center of the University in the General Administration Building (C).

Granting the scientific title to (2) professors

Granting the scientific title to (11) as an assistant professor.

Granting (11) Ph.D. degrees

Granting (21) master's degrees

Appointment of (2) as a teacher

Appointment of (3) teaching assistants through advertisement

Appointment of (13) teaching assistants by assignment
