Today, January 11, 2024, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, met with the team formed to develop the university’s strategic plan 2024-2030, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybany, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Hatem Idris, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research. The University President began the meeting by welcoming the work team headed by Professor Dr. Mohamad Omran Wady, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center, and the membership of a number of college deans, university faculty members, and the administrative staff. Then, His Excellency discussed the initial vision of the university’s new strategic plan, emanating from Egypt’s Vision 2030, the strategic goals of the new republic, and the sustainable development goals. His Excellency also reviewed the university's previous strategic plan, the percentage of strategic goals that have been accomplished, and the new goals that will be developed in light of the analysis of the results of the previous plan.

The university president added that the new plan will include several main objectives based on a vision and mission that will qualify it to be placed among the ranks of international universities, namely:

• Quality and accreditation         

• Smart University

• Increase and maximize personal resources

• Internationalization
