Today, February 14, 2024, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, held an expanded meeting with the Deans of Colleges at the University, in the presence of Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taybani, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Hatem Idris, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, to follow up on the work in the various colleges and sectors of the University. The meeting discussed several main files related to the educational, research and service process, most notably the continuous follow-up of the progress of the educational and administrative process in the colleges, the necessity of transferring scientific and research expertise with other universities, management of financial resources in colleges, and financial planning for available resources.  the President of the University stressed the need to review the internal regulations of the colleges. He also recommended that the deans of the colleges prepare a report for the first semester of each college that includes its most prominent achievements, the obstacles that prevented it from achieving its goals, and proposals for improvement to be discussed by the next University Council to discuss ways to overcome those obstacles to reach the highest levels of performance. The university president directed that a sports day be held for expatriates before the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the university’s keenness to provide a supportive educational and social environment for expatriates.
