Today, April 29, 2024, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, received the shield of the Scientific Conference on Modern International Trends in Art Therapy and Its Applications in Arab Countries from Professor Dr. Ghada Al-Sayad, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, which was held by the African-Asian Federation for Vocational and Technical Training and the Afro-Asian Association of Art Therapists in partnership with Faculty of Applied Arts, Damietta University. The conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hamdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, and under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Ghada Mohamed Al-Sayad - Dean of the College of Applied Arts, and Dr. Hanan Darwish, President of the African-Asian Federation for Vocational and Technical Training, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Maher Al-Sayyed, former Dean of the College of Applied Arts, and the rapporteur of the conference. Professor Dr. Mahdia Al-Najjar, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs. The conference aimed to exchange experiences between specialists and those interested in universities and research sectors locally and internationally, and to discuss the latest findings of modern scientific theories in the field of art therapy and explore a new world of creative thinking in the field of health care.
