The University President inaugurates the "I Am Also Responsible" workshop in cooperation with the National Training Academy. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, inaugurated the "I Am Also Responsible" workshop this morning, Sunday, July 6, 2025. The workshop was organized by the National Training Academy and hosted by the University Center for Professional Development at the university. The workshop comes as part of the cooperation between the Academy and Egyptian universities to spread community awareness among young people. In his opening remarks, the university president emphasized the importance of these awareness-raising initiatives, which aim to prepare a conscious generation capable of assuming responsibility and contributing effectively to nation-building. He also praised the role played by the National Training Academy in developing the capabilities of young people and enhancing their leadership skills. The "I Am Also Responsible" initiative is part of a series of awareness seminars being implemented by the Academy in cooperation with universities across various governorates, as part of a strategic plan aimed at building a generation that possesses awareness, knowledge, and the capacity for change. The initiative is based on a comprehensive training experience, encompassing 30 hours of training delivered over five days for each group. The training includes theoretical lectures, practical applications, case studies, and interactive discussions, contributing to the development of thinking skills and deepening awareness of the concepts of leadership and social responsibility. The initiative carries a clear message that "every individual is responsible," and that building a strong nation can only be achieved through the solidarity of all, a genuine will emanating from within, and a youth who see challenges as opportunities and possess the energy to effect change.
