On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Professor Hemdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, welcomed Dr. Mohamad Fawzy, Director of the Youth and Sports Directorate in Damietta Governorate, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of student and youth activities, especially during the summer vacation. The meeting discussed a number of proposals and programs aimed at developing students' skills and encouraging their participation in various activities, thus enhancing the university's role in serving the community and raising youth awareness. In a gesture of appreciation, Dr. Mohamed Fawzy presented the Youth and Sports Directorate's shield to the university president, in appreciation of his continuous support and fruitful cooperation in supporting student activities.
