Damietta University Council Approves a Financial reward of 2,000 Pounds for Administrative Staff on the Occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

The Damietta University Council, chaired by Professor Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, decided during its meeting held today, Thursday, March 12, 2026, to grant a financial reward of 2,000 Egyptian pounds to all employees of the university’s administrative staff on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr.

The decision was announced during the University Council meeting as part of the university administration’s commitment to appreciating the significant efforts made by administrative staff in supporting the educational and administrative processes and ensuring the smooth functioning of work within the various faculties and departments.

The University President affirmed that the administrative staff represent a fundamental pillar of the university system due to the organizational and executive roles they perform, which contribute to facilitating academic and administrative work. He praised the employees for their dedication and sincere efforts in carrying out their duties throughout the year and extended his congratulations to them on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Fitr.

He also explained that the decision to grant this bonus comes in recognition of their continuous contributions, wishing them continued success and emphasizing the university’s ongoing support for all efforts that contribute to improving institutional performance and enhancing the work environment within the university.
