The university president inspects the female students’ dormitory in a surprise visit to check on them amid weather fluctuations and the suspension of classes.
Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of Damietta University, conducted a surprise visit today, Thursday, March 26, 2026, to the female students’ dormitory in New Damietta to check on the students and ensure the regularity and quality of services provided to them. This comes in light of the recent weather changes that led to the suspension of in-person classes on Wednesday and Thursday.
The visit took place in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdo Amasha, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. The university president carried out a comprehensive inspection tour داخل the dormitory buildings, including facilities, kitchens, and dining halls, to ensure the quality of services, cleanliness, and the standard of meals provided, as well as to confirm the availability of all means of comfort and care for the students.
During the tour, the president held a friendly discussion with the students, listening to their opinions and suggestions.
