Damietta University President Attends CV Writing Workshop at the Career Development Center
Prof. Dr. Hamdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University, attended on Sunday, April 5, 2026, the activities of a CV writing workshop organized by the university’s Career Development Center, in the presence of Dr. Tarek El-Arabani, the Center Director. This comes as part of the university’s commitment to preparing its students for the job market and developing their professional skills.
In his speech, the University President أكد that writing a CV is one of the most challenging tasks facing young people at the beginning of their careers, as it requires the ability to present skills and experiences in a professional and attractive manner. He pointed out that having a strong CV is the first step toward securing distinguished job opportunities.
He also emphasized that the CV serves as the essential bridge to reaching the interview stage, stressing the importance of presenting it as a true reflection of real achievements and the student’s readiness to enter the job market with confidence and competence.
For his part, Dr. Tarek El-Arabani explained that the workshop aimed not only to teach students how to fill out a CV template, but also to empower them to transform their skills and student activities into a distinctive personal brand that reflects their real abilities and captures recruiters’ attention within seconds.
The workshop included several key training topics, such as the fundamentals of writing a professional CV, the most common mistakes to avoid, and how to effectively highlight personal and practical skills in line with modern job market requirements.
