The twentieth annual conference and the first internationally has been launched at the faculty of Education at 10.30, on Monday morning 17/10/2016. Entitled “Developing the higher education institutions policies and programs in the light of the sustainable development requirements “Under the auspices of both prof.dr. / Ashraf al-Shehhi –the Minister of Higher Education, prof.dr. / Ismail Taha - Damietta Governor, prof.dr. / Mamdouh Neamat Allah - the acting president of the university, which lasts for two days (17.18 October 2016).

The conference started with playing the national anthem, then the recitation of verses from the Koran, followed by a minute's silence for the souls of the heroes whose were martyred last week.

The conference includes three major seminars, and it have been receiving (35) Search for staff faculty members who were participated from various Egyptian universities, as well as some Arab countries.
