The university has achieved good progress in the universities global classification (Webometrics) version of January 2017 which is issued every six months, the current ranking (7134) globally among more than (26000) University and the Institute. It is noteworthy that the previous assessment in July 2016 the university was in rank (7268), While in January 2016 was (9575).

        Webometrics classification of the activity of Google Scholar to the highest scientific citations "Google Scholar Citation" for January 2017, the university got the position no (1670) and the ratio «Citation» 14006 globally among more than 5,000 University and the Institute at the same activity.

      Webometrics is one of the largest international rankings systems. It evaluates the universities and covers more than 20000 University and Institute globally, issued once every six months.

       This progress is generally a good indicator of the global competition in spite of the university modernity it is still needs more continuous and constant work of all its (faculty staff, employees and students) to face the challenges in order to get the best place among the other Universities.
